Hans Westermeier is a composer, author and lecturer in modern acoustic guitar. He teaches at the Free Music Centre in Munich and at various adult education institutes. He also runs guitar seminars in Germany and abroad.
His concerts receive outstanding reviews (from national newspapers such as the Süddeutsche Zeitung, Münchner Merkur etc.) and he is regarded as an expert in matters concerning acoustic guitars (including as co-editor of the journal "Soundcheck").
